All of my phone calls and nosing around has led us to the information that we are still a long ways away from meeting our child(ren). The amount of red tape even on the Canadian side is daunting. As I learn more I will let you know

Ughhh, just get those kids over here!! I don't understand how this is not happening, when there are families who would LOVE to help in this way, not to mention those waiting to adopt! Heck, we'd adopt a couple in a heartbeat, and we're not even on the adoption road. I admire your patience, even though it is a forced patience.
